The SR-71 Blackbird was considered by aviation authorities to be the most elite reconnaissance plane used by the U.S. during the Cold War, logging approximately 2,800 hours of flight time during 24 years of service. Now, you can feel part of that history with the Smithsonian Reconnaissance Collector\'s Edition Men\'s Watch, a fine stainless steel jewellery exclusive inspired by the SR-71 Blackbird and available only from The Bradford Exchange.

This watch owes its bold look to the aerodynamic shapes and features that are integral to the SR-71 Blackbird\'s sleek design. The watch face showcases 3 chronograph sub-dials with a stopwatch function in a cockpit-style look, a special date window with a unique cover device, and a genuine carbon fiber inset (a material used in high-speed aircraft and race cars, as well as high-end sporting equipment). Silver-tone and gunmetal IP-plating adds to the striking good looks, and the stainless steel case back is etched with a commemorative salute including the SR-71 Blackbird name and the plane\'s famous silhouette. This collector\'s edition men\'s chronograph watch is also a fine working timepiece, with precision quartz movement for accuracy and an adjustable bracelet-style band for a comfortable fit.

Adjustable bracelet-style band fits most wrists.
